| Jacqueline Harris Angu-Nafsi, born Jacqueline Harris, was raised in the Jeffries Housing Project in Detroit, Michigan, 1241 West Canfield,11th fl. Apt 2027. Although the Jeffries are gone, the people from there are not forgotten, it's evident by the annual picnic held each year at Belle Isle Park, in Detroit, where over 2500 people showed up to see one another. Jacqueline is the third of six children who learned to read and write at an early age. Jacqueline's love for reading and writing afforded her an escaped from reality taking trips all around the world without ever leaving her bedroom. However, after high school, Jacqueline joined the United States Air Force where she got a chance to gain a wealth of knowledge in the administrative field. Jacqueline was able to physically travel and see parts of the world she had only read about. San Antonio, Texas was her first stop, then Biloxi, Mississippi, there she ventured to ; South Dakota, then Korea, Washington State, California, and now she's made her home in Georgia. While in Jacqueline acquired her CDL, then started her own trucking company,and drove all around the country, and Canada, selling her two novels, "FAMILY,FRIENDS,AND STRANGERS, "and "BONDING TIES." This helped to support her writing habit. After three years of being on the road Jacqueline decided to change career fields once again, now she's running a lunch and dinner delivery service, "HOMEMADE EXPRESS." During Jacqueline's journey, she made a lot of friends and everyone she met had a story to tell so she listened. Jacqueline learned a lot of life lessons from other people's experiences as well as her own. Jacqueline continues to stress to anyone that listens, the importance of being able to read and write. More often than not, if you can't read or write, you will be among the minimun wage earners in the world, or perhaps an inmates, or even dead for doing something stupid like, robbing, stealing, or killing, because one lacks the basic powers to read and write. Reading and writing is truly fundamental. So please take time out of your busy schedule to read to a loved one, or learn to read if you are listening to someone who is reading this to you, because the life you save. . . might be your own, or someone you love.
